Cyclists
We are installing bike parks for the weekend so that anyone can cycle to the park. This way we can reduce the impact on the environment whilst also showing consideration to the local residents. Don’t forget your bike lock!
Pedestrians
We recommend that pedestrians enter the park either through the entrance opposite St Cuthbert’s Parish Centre on Stokesley Road or through the gates at the corner of Ladgate Lane and Stokesley Road.
Event Car Parking
A limited amount of free event parking will be available, but it’s going to be a busy weekend so why not arrange a car share?
Parking will be sign-posted clearly from both directions as you make your approach along Ladgate Lane to the main park entrance. Accessible parking will be available to blue badge holders only, through the main gates. All other vehicles will be directed to the car park on the opposite side of the road.
Coaches
There is no allocated parking on or near the site for coaches or busses that seat more than 17 passenger. There is a coach drop off zone on site (Stewart Park, Coach Bays, Stewart park car park, Middlesbrough TS7 8AR) and then off-site parking for coaches at Tees Valley Community Church (The Oakwood Centre, Cleasby Way, Stockton-on-Tees, TS16 0RD). This is for permit holders only. Permits can be requested by emailing UKOffice@palau.org.

Yes, pets are welcome so long as they are kept under control as to not disturb anyone else.

Definitely! We have several local food trucks and vendors offering a variety of food and drink on-site. This is the only thing that you will be expected to pay for but feel free bring your own picnic if you prefer. And we recommend that you bring plenty of water with you as there will not be refill facilities at the festival.
-
There will be first aid available at the festival and you can go to the first aid tent, which will be identified by large green and white flags.
-
Lost items may be retrieved at the information tent.
-
If an item is found, it should be given to the nearest Festival Friend (wearing a visi-vest).
-
There is no public WiFi available, but we’d love for you to share your photos with the hashtag #FestivalTeesside.
-
Toilet blocks will be located all over the festival site. See site map for more details.

Security will be stationed throughout the festival site. In the event of a security problem, notify a member of our Security Staff or Festival Friends (wearing a visi-vest).

There will be an area in the middle of the field next to the sound mixing booth that is reserved for those in wheelchairs. It is a grass site but there will be a rubber path from the main entrance to the centre of the festival site.
-
Yes, the festival is compliant with any relevant laws and large event best practices. We have also gone through a stringent process with the local council and a Safety Advisory Group, which includes local emergency services, to ensure we plan for a safe event for everyone.
-
We have a range of things in place to reduce the risk of criminal activity. This includes things like enhanced searches of bags and personal belongings for people entering the site, zero alcohol and drugs allowed on site, and a professional security team on all entrances as well as on site. We also have support from local police and have sought further input from local authorities to ensure we plan a safe event for everyone.
-
It will take a major weather incident for us to cancel the festival! Unless the weather poses a real and significant threat to safety, we will remain open. We are suggesting that you come prepared for any weather – bring your waterproofs, sun lotion, and plenty of water!
-
There will be accessible toilet facilities on site and a viewing platform to allow a clear view of stage for those with accessibility needs.
-
Sign language interpretation will be provided for the main talk on the main stage on both evenings. The main stage interpretation area is beside the sound mixing tent in the middle of the field.

Festival Teesside is run by the local Christian community – but it is a free, family event open to everyone. You do not need to be a Christian to come along.
